Today, on March 21st, we celebrate International Forest Day, a day to recognize the importance of forests and promote their conservation and sustainable use.

On International Forest Day, it is even more important to recognize the value of forests, and to take action to protect and restore them. Forests play a crucial role in maintaining the planet’s biodiversity, regulating the climate, and providing essential resources such as clean air and water. Unfortunately, forests are under threat from deforestation, degradation, and climate change, and urgent action is needed to protect them.
Growing, Restoring, and Nurturing with WeForest.
WeForest’s projects focus on forest restoration, using a combination of approaches, including active planting, assisted natural regeneration, among others. They aim to develop reforestation projects through their Forest and Landscape Restoration program, primarily in tropical regions, to promote sustainable practices and to help stop global warming. Their vision is a world where communities and nature can sustainably thrive together, and they work with local communities to conserve and restore the ecological integrity of forest landscapes, providing lasting solutions for climate, nature, and people.
Taking Climate Action with WeForest & Renewd®
Renewd® pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds from every device sold to WeForest in 2019, and we are thrilled to report that our partnership is still flourishing in 2022. Through our partnership, we are supporting many hectares under restoration management, protecting, regenerating, and growing trees, equivalent to 92 football pitches. As Renewd® continues to grow, we can do more to create awareness for WeForest and make more donations each year. Together, we are working towards a more sustainable future for all.
